Creole Houses

My cousin's new book on Creole architecture is available now. Its "claim" is that Creole architecture is the only uniquely American style.
The book combines all three areas of John's experience and expertise: John is a program director for the Historic New Orleans Collection, and himself an art photographer. His dad was dean of architecture at Tulane. You can get his book from Amazon.

funny you should mention the Creole Cottages book. I was fortunate to visit the Historic New Orleans Collection yesterday and purchased a signed copy. After perusing it until the late hours of last night, I plan to return for more copies to share with those special folks on my christmas list.

Upon entering Barnes and Noble bookstore I was immediately met with a large table display of Creole Cottages books. I am now being enlightened by page after page of charming photos and their historic relevance. spqr
