Fr. Fred finally appears

Well, it only took three weeks, but I finally got pictures of my recently ordained friend, Fr. Fred Sahuc, CMF. Mom went to his Mass of Thanksgiving in his home parish of St. Dominic's in the Lakeview neighborhood of New Orleans (right near that levee break).
Prayers for your ministry, Father!

With that picture on your blogg I could neve claim that Sunday was not a happy day for me and my parish! Your Mom and Sister were so sweet. I'm back at work preparing for mass this morning...I also had mass last night. They want to make sure I don't have time to get in any trouble...
God has been so good as to give me a whole new ministry at this stage of my life...Proof positive that nothing is impossible with God!

That's your Mom in the picture with Fr. Fred? She looks like she could be your sister :)

God bless her, and God bless Father Fred, too!!

Gee, Lisa, that's what I thought when I met Winifred that morning...and thanks for the blessing...I have now received full faculties to function as a priest in the Archdiocese of Atlanta and will begin celebrating the sacrament of reconciliation on Monday at our parish mission. Pray that I be a good confessor.

To Lisa and Father Fred. Thanks for your kind remarks. My family will be throwing a wing ding for my 80th birthday next week. Pictures DO lie....but not Father Fred's. He was that ecstatic. God Bless both of you. Winifred
