Sister, I just discovered that only residents of Louisiana are supposed to vote. Maybe our votes are being thrown out! (I think that they may be able to tell based on IP addresses.) Well, we tried.

I just read the rules--voters must be residents of Louisiana!

Voters don't have to be Louisiana residents. Nominators do. So I'm going to keep voting.

I didn't see anything saying only Louisiana residents may vote. If that were the case, they'd include a checkbox or something for "are you a resident of Louisiana?" ... or something like that.

It is in the fine print under Rules & regulations: "Voters must be a resident of the state of Louisiana, age 13 or older as of 4/3/07."
