Sr. Rose's sister and nephew will be on Dr. Phil tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept. 27) to highlight the deadly "game" pre-teens "play" in search of a high. I've previously posted things about the tragedy that befell this family: the nephew found his twin brother suffocated in their room, and their mom is making it her cause to get the word out to parents. Check your local listings, and keep a box of Kleenex handy.

My son also died from the "choking game" 10 months ago at age 16. Awareness needs to continue to be brought forward on this. I never heard of this. We homeschool our children, and yet he learned of this. Warn your friends and parents of kids. It's a deadly game.

I am so, so sorry to hear of your loss, Loni. Praying that Sam and Gabriel's story will somehow get out to kids (not Dr. Phil's usual audience) and shake them into a realization that this is not a matter of fun.
What a beautiful family you have, Lori.
