Only a serious mental disconnect could make that even remotely possible. But the gunman seems to think he is a law unto himself. In our fallen state, it can be easy for us to justify ourselves in any circumstance whatever...just look at the late doctor.
A letter to the editor in my morning paper was filled with praise for all of the great acts of kindness in favor of women that were performed by the late Dr. Tiller. Dorothy you're not in Kansas anymore.
Somehow such people (and the doctor himself) manage to ignore how utterly hideous his work really was. He may have been justified by the "law of the land," but he was involved in the most gruesome and inhuman work possible. His killer did us the extreme disservice of providing him with the mantle of a dubious "martyrdom."

I don't know how someone can profess to be pro-life and be able to justify murder.

Lord, be merciful to the executer and the executed.
"Those who live by the sword, die by the sword."
