Today's Gospel takes us back to the Last Supper.I find it rather consoling that it is the "fruitful" branches that get pruned.
I'm going to try to keep that in mind next time I see the Lord with his pruning gear in hand...

Today's Gospel takes us back to the Last Supper.I find it rather consoling that it is the "fruitful" branches that get pruned.

So neat that you find consolation in the knowledge that the "fruitful" branches are the ones which get pruned. But the fact that you will try to keep that in mind the next time you SEE THE LORD WITH HIS PRUNING GEAR IN HAND prompts me to think that you have been visiting those grapes much too frequently.
