If you haven't read up on the Pope's visit, here's a good place to start.
I was just marveling that the last Papal visit to the US was 13 years ago: before the Internet entered just about every home in the country. Now we can all follow the streaming video if we want to, and share our insights in real time with others. Amazing.

Ditto. Thomas More Flanagan defied orders from the family income tax attorneys and came into this world on Income Tax Day. He is 44 yrs old and a prominent attorney. Happy birthday, Thomas More.
Pope John Paul II was "here" (in St. Louis, Mo.) in 1999 which was well into the Internet age. A friend of mine covered the visit for a major newspaper which is why I remember it quite clearly (I didn't even know the reporter 13 yrs ago).
