Boxing Day
I know, it's December 26, not October 22. But here in Chicago we are about to see the opening of the International Boxing Competition, and the streets are filled with burly competitors. I even saw one heavyweight in an embroidered silk jacket! Pray that somehow this "sporting event" will truly be "sporting," and that no lasting injuries result.

A warm welcome to those burly competitors with or without silk embroidered jackets. A few years ago at your airport I was privileged to have a couple of those muscle men help this senior citizen with her weighty luggage. Grateful "feather weight".
I never understood how pummeling another human bloody was a sport.
Let's add to that list of "macho sports", Bullfighting. spqr
